This apartment—located in Kalorama Heights, one Washington’s best addresses—received a full interior architectural renovation. We transformed the apartment’s circulation while respecting its original 1920s details. From designing a modern, open kitchen to installing new herringbone flooring to the custom millwork, hardware and lighting, every space was designed to work harmoniously with the architecture. Using the clients’ existing furniture and favorite colors, we reupholstered older pieces, added some new ones, ensuring everything worked together.
