MEDITERRANEAN MAKEOVER

A New York couple with two young children bought a classic 3,500 square-foot Mediterranean-style house in Chevy Chase, DC. However, the home’s existing kitchen offered little storage and didn’t connect to the other spaces in the house. We opened the kitchen into the dining room, added a kitchen island and eye-catching arch windows that tie in with all the other arch openings in the house. We also added an exterior double sliding-glass door to bring more light into the space. The custom green cabinets worked with their existing palette and added great color and character.
