Inspiring design is about creating timeless, meaningful spaces that make everyday living and entertaining a joy.
PROJECTS

PROCESS
Truly listening is the first start of a creative relationship. Whether it’s selecting furniture and textiles or creating a construction plan, Barbara follows a design process that works to establish your goals and challenges, analyze your space, and determine your budget.
Every project will start with a conceptual phase to define the design vision and intent of the project. A follow-up meeting will outline different solutions and design choices and summarize the step-by-step process of your project from beginning to end.
Schematic and design development phases will focus on establishing the design two-dimensionally, and then developing it three-dimensionally. Finishes, materials, furniture, and lighting details to define and enhance the design will be selected at this stage, too.
If the project includes construction, a very detailed set of construction documents will follow. During construction there will be a series of coordination and construction meetings to ensure the project gets built according to design and budget.
Spaces flow through light, color, and materials to subtly, but powerfully, affect each moment.
