HAMPTONS VISION

Originally a modern 90s design created by architect Don Chapell, this 5,500 square-foot home underwent changes throughout the years by a subsequent owner. Quirky, with lots of angles and no straight walls, it was definitely not in the typical style of its East Hampton neighbors. Our goal was an update that respected the integrity of the original design.

This complete house renovation included a new kitchen that was relocated to allow access to the pool and outdoors. We renovated all living spaces, including five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Each guest bedroom was designed to have a unique theme and character. Fully-carpeted floors were switched to extra-wide oak wood planking, the stair and catwalk were made more inviting, and we added glass railing panels to open the space. Exterior work included refacing the whole house, renovating the pool, adding an outdoor pergola, landscaping, and building an outdoor bathroom.
